What is Bare Root?
Bare root plants are dormant plants that are dug up and stored without any soil around their roots.

When is Bare Root season?
Bare Root season is in the winter when plants are dormant. For us, Bare Root season begins January 1st. This is when we get all of our Bare Root plant stock in meaning it is when we have our largest and best selection.

What are the benefits of planting Bare Root?
There are many benefits to planting Bare Root! Most cost-effective and largest variety available aside, BR also tend to be the healthiest. Their root bundles tend to be larger than potted plants which help them become established quicker and grow faster. They are ultra-lightweight which makes getting them home and planting them simple.
